Greetings and welcome! My name is Heetae Kim and I am deeply honored and excited to serve as your Senior Pastor here at Level Cross UMC. I am humbled to serve this congregation and am passionate about helping the church become a beacon of hope and service.

I was born and raised in South Korea, and for many years I have had a deep calling and passion for mission work and global ministry. This passion has profoundly shaped my journey in both theological studies and pastoral ministry.

Following this call, I pursued my studies in missions and mission history at Asbury Theological Seminary and Boston University School of Theology in the United States. These studies gave me a deeper understanding of both pastoral ministry and the Church's engagement with the wider world. I also completed my Master of Divinity (M.Div.) at the Graduate School of Methodist Theological University in Seoul, which provided a crucial foundation for my pastoral calling.

My background and theological education have fueled a deep conviction about the church's vital role in the world. This conviction is rooted in my belief in the transforming power of God's love, which invites us into deeper relationship and renewal. I am passionate about living out this faith with you and working together to make Level Cross UMC a place where this love is experienced and shared.

I am blessed with a loving wife and three children. Our family is excited and grateful to walk this journey of faith alongside all of you and to become a part of the Local community.

As your pastor, I look forward to getting to know each of you, sharing in your joys and challenges, and growing together in faith as we are nourished by God's Word and Spirit.
